Aloft

Aloft by Chang-Rae Lee, the May book for Boulder Junction, was one of my favorite books from last year. I liked Jerry Battle as a character and kept hoping that he would "come down to earth" because he had so much to share with the people around him.

I found this review from "january magazine" comparing Jerry to John Updike's Rabbit and to Richard Ford's Frank Bascomb

Also by Chang-Rae Lee is The Gesture Life. I read this book a few years
ago and remember liking it very much too.
