Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky begins the month of books as the April book for the Manitowish Waters club. The New York Times included this review of the book. Here's another interesting review of the book. Here is another link to a New Republic article about the book and Nemirovsky's life prior to WWII. It will give us even more to talk about at the book club.
The other books for the month are My Antonia by Willa Cather for Boulder Junction and The Gravedigger's Daughter by Joyce Carol Oates for the Winchester group.
